Briana Domenica was born in Falmouth, MA and raised in south Florida, but has since relocated to Nashville. She started performing at an early age, and in second grade, upon being cast in a school play, realized her calling to be on stage. By age 17, Domenica knew music was her destiny. Her drive, determination, talent, and faith paved the way, blessing her with amazing opportunities - singing at Carnegie Hall and in Disney’s "Candlelight Processional at Epcot." Music has also taken her to places she never could have imagined, as Domenica has toured Prague, Vienna, Poland, England, Holland, and Belgium for The Make-A-Wish Foundation. Following these opportunities and ten years of classical voice training, Domenica ventured into other genres and eventually found her passion in Contemporary Christian music.
After high school graduation, Domenica began pursuing her musical dreams. In 2019, she released her first single, "Invisible," followed by her first Christmas single and corresponding music video, "Oh, Night Divine," which exclusively premiered worldwide with CCM Magazine. She followed up those releases in 2020 with her third album, “Warrior In Me”, releasing a music video of the same title which also premiered with CCM Magazine, and in 2021 she released a video, "With A Word," a collaboration with delta folk duo, Crosby Lane. In 2022, Domenica released her single and corresponding music video, "Defender," as well as her last single, “That Was You," both videos exclusively premiered with TheChristianBeat.org. Earlier this year she had the honor of opening for Colton Dixon at New Song Praise-Fest in Columbia, TN, and is nominated for two 2023 Josie Music Awards - Music Video of the Year and Song of the Year for "That Was You."
Domenica especially loves writing songs and signed her first publishing deal with Song Rocket Music in 2019. Every time she puts pen to paper, she truly gives listeners a piece of her heart and a look into her soul, in hopes of inspiring and relating to others through the universal language of music. Domenica's songs are centered on her life experiences and her faith. She has also contributed her talents to many great causes including Heart for Recovery, Love in Action, and was a featured guest on the renowned Jesus Calling's podcast reaching over 1.5 million followers.
Music is one of Domenica's greatest passions, but she is also deeply passionate about suicide prevention and awareness after losing several loved ones to suicide, including her oldest brother. She has also personally struggled with suicidal thoughts. She started a 501c3 (Angel in the Sky) in May of 2016 to turn family heartache and tragedy into something good. She created and released a video series on suicide prevention and awareness to help others who share the same struggles. It can be found on her YouTube Channel. Domenica is currently booking dates for 2024 as she prepares to take her music and ministry on the road, both live and virtually.
